Fly & Cruise Antarctica itinerary allows travellers to fly to and from Antarctica in less than two hours. Only eight days in length, it’s perfect for those who are not confident sailors or those with time constraints.
Day 1
Arrival Punta Arenas
Upon arrival at Punta Arenas international airport, you’ll be escorted by car to your accommodation in Punta Arenas.
Enjoy an afternoon at leisure, before an expedition dinner with your fellow travellers.
Day 2
Punta Arenas – South Shetland Islands
Today you will fly by private charter from Punta Arenas across the Drake Passage to King George Island in the South Shetland Islands. Walk around one mile to the zodiac boarding point to embark your expedition ship.
Day 3
Antarctic Peninsula
You’ll spend the next four days cruising around the South Shetland Islands and western Antarctic Peninsula.
Weather conditions mean the route can differ each time, but it may include Paulet Island, Hope Bay, Port Lockroy, Petermann Island, Paradise Bay, Deception Island, and the Lemaire Channel.
You’ll have the opportunity for daily excursions in a zodiac boat to witness Antarctic wildlife, as well as kayaking through iceberg-filled lagoons and snowshoeing to reach viewpoints.
Day 4
Antarctic Peninsula
Continue to cruise around the South Shetland Islands and western Antarctic Peninsula.

Antarctic Peninsula – Punta Arenas
Today you’ll return to King George Island for the charter flight back to Punta Arenas. The flight departure time is subject to suitable weather windows.
On arrival, you will spend a final night in Punta Arenas.
Day 7
Departure
Today you’ll be escorted to the airport for your onward journey.
