The UK has fallen head over stiletto heels for Lucy Choi’s confections. And it’s not hard to see why, as foot candy runs in her blood. Choi’s uncle is none other than Jimmy Choo, and her sister is Sandra Choi (who now runs their uncle’s former empire). Choi, who recently launched her boutique in Connaught Street, London, gives us her insider tips to the city.
I love to shop at Vielma and 202 Boutique in London, as the designs are playful and have that all-important wow factor. I also love Wolf & Badger, as it is the perfect place for discovering new and exciting up and coming brands.
For me it has to be Space NK and Urban Retreat in Harrods, because the products are of such a high quality.
Recently my go-to place has been Santorus. They sell the most exquisite cushions, wallpapers and fabrics.
I love Cocomaya near to the boutique which has the most amazing little cakes and patisseries. Closer to home, I always go to Bill Granger, and am often using it as my office when I am on the go!
My husband and I love Scott’s and Kai [Michelin-star Chinese restaurant], but if I had to pick one, it would be La Petite Maison. The food is exquisite and I’m transported to the Mediterranean the moment I walk in. For something a little more casual, I love to go to ULI in Notting Hill and this amazing Japanese place called Dinings – it serves the best sushi in town!
For a casual cocktail after work I love going to Kurobuta on Kendal Street, near the boutique.
