Arrival Buenos Aires

Upon arrival at Buenos Aires, you’ll be met by a Lightfoot Travel representative and privately escorted by car to your accommodation in Palermo Soho.

The remainder of your day will be spent at leisure.

Get acquainted with Buenos Aires on a half-day guided tour.

You’ll explore colourful La Boca, colonial San Telmo, and see Plaza de Mayo and Recoleta Cemetery where Eva Peron is buried.

Buenos Aires

Enjoy a day at leisure to explore Buenos Aires at your own pace – go wine tasting, participate in a food tour or tango lessons, or explore the museums and galleries. Your Travel Designer can recommend activities that suit your needs prior to departure.

In the evening, you’ll enjoy a three-course dinner while watching the best tango show in town.

Buenos Aires - El Calafate

In the morning you’ll be escorted back to the airport for your flight to El Calafate in Argentine Patagonia.

Check into your hotel and enjoy an afternoon at leisure.

El Calafate

Today you’ll explore the UNESCO-listed Los Glaciares National Park with your private guide. The tour includes a two-hour mini trek across Perito Moreno Glacier, along with some stunning viewpoints.

El Calafate - Bariloche

Fly north to Bariloche in the heart of the Argentine Lake District, where you’ll be escorted to your hotel. Settle in and relax.

Day 7 & 8

Day 7
Lake District

Spend two days exploring the lakes, forests, and snow-capped peaks of the Argentine Lake District. Go fishing, horseback riding, hiking, explore estancias, go kayaking or rafting, or ski during winter.

We can arrange for a rental 4X4 so you can explore at your own pace or book a private guide to accompany you.

Day 8
Bariloche - Mendoza

Today, you’ll be transferred to the airport for your flight to Mendoza. Upon arrival your private guide will escort you to your accommodation.

You can either opt to stay in the charming city with art deco buildings and leafy avenues, or head to one of the properties set amongst the vineyards with a picturesque Andes backdrop.

Day 9
Mendoza

Today, you’ll enjoy a guided wine tour of Mendoza with an expert guide. Discover boutique wineries on the Lujan de Cuyo, Uco and Maipu Valleys, and taste their finest wines.

In the afternoon, enjoy a tasting lunch with wine pairings at a bodega restaurant.

Day 10
Mendoza

Enjoy a day at leisure in Mendoza. You can hire bikes to explore more wineries, or we can arrange for another guided tour. You may wish to blend your own wine, or go hiking, horseback riding or rafting in the Andes.

Day 11
Mendoza - Iguazu Falls

You’ll be escorted to the airport for your flight to Iguassu, via Buenos Aires, where you’ll be met and transferred to your hotel in the heart of the Iguazu National Park.

The hotel will be close to the Brazilian side of the Falls, so you can explore at leisure.

Day 12
Iguazu Falls

Today, you’ll head over to the Argentine side of Iguazu Falls to experience a different viewpoint of one of the world’s most awe-inspiring sights. Get a stunning panorama of the Falls and appreciate their power from a walkway that gets close to the action.

In the afternoon, enjoy a jet boat safari to experience Iguazu Falls from a different angle.

Day 14

Departure

Today you’ll be escorted to the airport for your onward journey.
