Situated in the Chacras region of the Mendoza wine route, Finca Adalgisa is a small family-run winery that’s bursting with charm. With five acres of vintage Malbec vines planted in 1916, this is a place beloved by wine connoisseurs.
The eleven cosy rooms and suites are spread over two buildings and have a simple rustic charm, with king-sized beds and private bathrooms with vintage bathtubs. Some of the suites have a private terrace with views over the vineyard.
The winery produces 5,000 bottles of wine annually, reserved exclusively for guests. Evenings are spent sampling the different vintages accompanied by cheese and meats. During the day, guests are welcome to learn about winemaking, chat to workers, and help with harvesting.
Cooking classes are available and guests can learn to prepare a traditional Argentinian asado. Alternatively, relax by the pool, wander around the gardens, or visit other wineries and vineyards in the region.
