Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you’ll be met by a representative and privately escorted by car to your accommodation in Entebbe.
The remainder of your day will be spent at leisure.
Meet your guide for an early morning flight to Kasese airstrip, where you’ll be transferred to your accommodation in Kibale National Park, an area of moist evergreen rainforest that’s home to the highest concentration of primates in the world.
In the afternoon, visit the crater lakes.
Today you’ll head deep into Kibale National Park in search of chimpanzees. Once you’ve located them, spend up to an hour observing the family group.
After lunch, visit the conservation project at Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary.
After breakfast, you’ll transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park in western Uganda. This savannah park is home to almost 100 species of mammals and over 600 species of birds.
After lunch, take a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, home to the highest concentration of hippos in Africa. You may also encounter crocodiles, and see elephants and buffalos drinking at the water’s edge.
After breakfast, you’ll be transferred to the Ishasha sector of the park, where you’ll check in and have lunch at your lodge.
After lunch, see what wildlife you can spot on an afternoon nature drive.
Go in search of the park’s famous black-maned, tree-climbing lions. Also look out for elephants, antelopes, buffalo, monkeys, baboons, and abundant bird species.
Enjoy a late afternoon game drive at the Lake Edward flood plains. Keep your eyes peeled for leopards and tree-climbing lions.
After breakfast, head to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, one of Africa’s richest ecosystems. After checking into your camp, you have a choice of activities including forest walks, game drives, cultural visits with the Batwa people, and birdwatching.
After an early start, you’ll trek deep into Bwindi in search of gorillas, which can take between one and five hours. But once you’ve tracked down these magnificent creatures and spent an hour in their company, it will have been totally worth it.
After lunch, enjoy a forest walk to the Muyanga Waterfalls.
Today you’ll be escorted to Kihihi airstrip for your internal transfer to Entebbe, where you’ll pick up your international flight home.
