Caribbean island that’s free of TV stars, then head to Bequia (pronounced Bekway). This hilly outpost of the Grenadines is off-the-beaten track, so it’s only the yachts that seem to find it. Take a walk along the scenic harbour, visit the turtle sanctuary and enjoy a picnic on a nearby deserted island. It can be pricey to get to, but that’s why you will pretty much have the place to yourself.

Brazil’s north coast is renowned for natural beaches and clear waters filled with sea turtles, dolphins and rays. Nannai Noronha is expected to open in March 2019.
