Day 1 Arrival Chiang Mai
Upon arrival you’ll be met at the airport and escorted to your hotel.
The rest of your day will be spent at leisure.
Day 2 Chiang Mai
Today you’ll embark on a full day guided elephant experience.
Upon arrival at the camp, you’ll be met by an elephant mahout and introduced to the animals. Here, you’ll learn about their daily lifestyle, play with them or bathe them.
After lunch you’ll continue to learn more about the camp before being returned to Chiang Mai in the evening.
Day 3 Chiang Mai
After breakfast you’ll head to the local market to pick up ingredients for your lunch. From here you’ll walk through the community forest, passing tea and coffee fields, to a nice waterfall.
At Mae Kampong village you’ll visit a local house to watch your lunch being prepared.
After dining with your host family you’ll embark on a Flight Of The Gibbon Experience, whizzing though the rainforest canopy on ziplines and sky bridges.
Day 4 Chiang Mai
Today you’ll enjoy a Segway experience. Go on a fun ‘glided’ tour, taking in Wat Phra Singh, Wat Pan Tao, Wat Chedi Luang, Tapae Gate, Wat Chiang Man.
Day 5 Chiang Mai - Phuket
After breakfast you’ll be transferred to the airport for your flight to Phuket. Upon arrival you’ll be met and escorted to your hotel.
Day 6 Phuket
You’ll set off after breakfast aboard a private motorboat toward the sleepy island of Koh Yao Noi.
Spend a full day meeting the locals and learning about fish farming, one of the island’s main industries. Discover a rubber plantation to see how the trees are tapped for sap, and enjoy a batik-making workshop.
After lunch at a local home you’ll spend the rest of the day wandering through rice fields and village laneways before visiting the local market.
You’ll return by boat to Phuket.
Day 7 Phuket
Enjoy the next two days at leisure.
This is your chance to explore the intricate Thai Buddhist temples such as Wat Chalong Wat Phra Thong and Wat Phranangsang, indulge in some watersports, try a family cooking course, or head out to Phi Phi Island of James Bond Island for a day.
Day 8 At leisure
Continue to spend time at leisure. Your Lightfoot Travel Designer can advise on activities prior to departure.
Day 9 Phuket - Home
This morning you’ll be transferred to Phuket for your onward journey home.

- Have lunch at a local home and visit the nearby villages and markets
