Amazon Clipper Premium

Cruise the Amazon River in luxury aboard the Amazon Clipper Premium. This traditional riverboat offers spacious cabins and welcoming public spaces, but is small enough to dock at remote jungle locations and nimble enough to cruise to depths of only three feet.

Accommodating 32 guests, the 16 cabins feature twin or queen-sized beds, private bathrooms with hot showers, air-conditioning, and large windows for observing the landscape.

There’s a restaurant deck serving buffet-style meals, a leisure deck with a covered observation area, bar with comfortable seating, lecture room, and two whirlpools. The sun deck offers 360º panoramic views, ideal for watching the sunset and the night sky.

Choose from a number of options, all operating from Manaus: a 3-day Amazon River cruise, 4-day Negro River cruise, and a 6-day option combining the two. All include excursions by foot or motorised canoe allowing you a closer look at the flora and unparalleled wildlife.

Location & Getting There

The Amazon Clipper Premium is a traditional Amazon vessel and one of the more comfortable to ply the waters out of Manaus, the so-called gateway to the Amazon. All cruises will start at the pier of Hotel Tropical Resort, which is a 10-minute drive from Eduardo Gomes International Airport.

Accommodation

The boat has only 16 but spacious cabins. Each is of high standard, air-conditioned, featuring twin beds and hot showers.

Activities

The boat offers 3 and 4 day trips along the Amazon and Negro Rivers respectively, whilst a 6 day itinerary combines both rivers. On-board guides will tailor the excursions each day allowing for exploration by motor-canoe or on foot to get up close to the flora and fauna of the jungle. The boat, being small enough, is also able to dock at remote jungle spots and explore little chartered tributaries.

Children

Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by their parents at all times.
