Maasai Mara & Southern KenyaKicheche Mara Camp is a classic tented camp hidden in a beautiful valley in a prime wildlife area of the Mara North Conservancy.
With only ten tents, Kicheche Mara Camp guarantees guests an intimate and relaxed atmosphere. All tents overlook the Olare Orok stream and the western escarpment of the valley. Each tent has a spacious en-suite bathroom with running hot and cold water. A family suite is available.
The camp lounge is a relaxing place to unwind at the end of the day and has a stunning view down the valley with comfortable seating, a library, board games and local crafts. All meals are taken in the communal dining tent or in the shade of a large euclea tree with a beautiful view.
Kicheche offers child friendly activities and keeps their youngest guests well entertained on their Kenya vacation adventure. These activities are available at Kicheche Mara: Beadwork lessons | Tracking | Fire making | Archery | Spear launching | Exploratory camp walks | Cultural talk. However, it should be noted that the camp is not fenced so it is not recommended for children aged under 7 years old.
