Kasbah du Toubkal offers 14 tastefully appointed rooms and three family rooms, which include a spacious Apartment Suite and a charming self-contained garden house with a private terrace that’s ideal for families.
The dining room features local specialities and authentic Berber rituals create a unique experience at each meal. Picnic lunches can also be arranged. Berber tradition dictates that no alcohol is served on the premises, although you can bring your own as long as you serve it yourself.
There are plenty of options for trekking, ranging from gentle rambles to extended hikes. Don’t miss the Kasbah’s own hammam steam bath, the ideal way to relax after a tiring day.

Location & Getting There
Located at the heart of Toubkal National Park, the Kasbah Du Toubkal is located 10 minutes from the centre by foot. For guests arriving by plane, the Kasbah Du Toubkal is a 45 minutes drive from the Marrakech’s Menara Airport.
Accommodations
Kasbah du Toubkal has a total of 14 rooms, including a house with 3 ensuite double rooms all well-furnished in Traditional Berber styled decor. The Junior Suite consists of a private Berber salon with Berber couches and outside terrace. The Garden Apartment Suite boasts its own lounge, terrace and balcony with spectacular views of the waterfalls and the High Atlas.
Activities
The hotel offers complimentary walks for residents as guests can embark on day and overnight treks. The adventurous can ascend Jbel Toubkal (4167m) or relish in camel riding. Guided excursion and tours can also be organised by Lightfoot.
Children
Children are welcomed. The Garden house is the perfect apartment stay for families as the three rooms are linked.
This is a wonderful, relaxed property in the Atlas Mountains. It’s decorated in traditional Moroccan style and makes a great base to explore the mountains and Berber Villages. We especially applaud the fact that it employs locals, funds the Village Association and has won a Green Globe for sustainable tourism While here do as much hiking as you can, and we also recommend fitting in a cooking class which will really impress your friends and family back home!
