Despite its proximity to the thrill of wildlife and nature, this property is a haven of luxurious respite. Fourteen detached private wooden pavilions are nestled throughout, each featuring palm-leaf roofs and private pools. The open-style bathrooms with freestanding tubs are incredible, but perhaps suit couples more than friends.
Meals are served at the nautical-themed restaurant, which has a sea-facing deck and an air-conned interior. There’s also a sunken bar and a spa directly on site.

Located in the deep south of Sri Lanka, Chena Huts is just 5 minutes from Yala National Park. Colombo International Airport is a 6-hour drive.
