Verdura Golf & Spa Resort is nestled along the radiant Mediterranean coast and dramatic countryside of Sicily. Spread across 230-hectares of land, as the name hints, Verdura is best known for its uniquely picturesque golf courses and advanced spa and wellness facilities.

With a passion for hospitality and a distinctly Italian style refined throughout four generations, Verdura Golf & Spa Resort’s design methodology is similar to that of an extravagant but welcoming home. Inspired by Sicilian villages, early Greek and Roman historical sites, and the scenic Mediterranean, the rooms, suites, and villas aim to offer an interior reflection of Italy’s luxurious exterior.

A retreat to Verdura provides guests of all ages and tastes with a variety of activities experiences. Whether it’s couples enjoying fine dining at one of the eight bars and restaurants or parents taking the kids to the Junior Golf Academy, activities can be catered to any type of stay. There is also a new collection of spacious three and four-bedroom villas with private pools, set away from the main hotel complex, perfect for families and larger groups seeking that extra touch of exclusivity.

Location & Getting There
Verdura Golf & Spa Resort is a scenic 1.5-hour drive away from Palermo Airport. For those who prefer a more dramatic arrival, the resort also boasts its own helipad that allows for chartered helicopters to land.

Accommodation
Verdura Golf & Spa Resort offers 168 traditional rooms, 32 suites, and three exclusive villa suites, along with a collection of expansive three and four-bedroom villas with a private pool, newly launched in 2021. Each room, suite, and villa marry traditional Italian design, influenced by the surrounding Sicilian landscape, with modern amenities that provide an indulgent retreat for guests.

Rooms range from the 40 square meter Deluxe Room to the 80 square meter Family Room. Suites include Junior, Classic, Grand, Family, or Pool Suites each with its own balcony or terrace. Ranging from 60 to 156 square meters, all suites include a king-sized bed, open bathrooms featuring a bathtub and a walk-in shower, and a private balcony to enjoy expansive views of the Mediterranean.

The three villa suites (Mimosa, Peonia, and Acacia) range from 250 to 270 square meters, each including their own private pool, courtyard, sophisticated indoor and outdoor living spaces, and comfortably accommodating at least six guests.

Activities
Guests staying at Verdura Golf & Spa Resort have access to a wide variety of fun and engaging activities. There is an array of sports academies, such as Fencing, Tennis, Golf, Karate, and the Juventus Academy, where kids can participate in and learn more about each respective sport. There is also a Diving Academy and access to varied water sport activities, equipment, and courses. For less sporty guests, options include horseback riding, cultural excursions to local attractions, culinary classes, dance classes, wellness activities, and luxury helicopter rides.

Children
Verdura Golf & Spa Resort offers a unique experience for children. Special services include 24-hour babysitting, in-house spa treatments, a special Rocco Forte Kids passport and so much more for your young ones to enjoy! At Verdura Kid’s Club, also known as Verduland, there is a number of programs designed for children between the ages of 4 to 12. Children are also welcomed to take golf lessons at the Junior Golf Academy.
