Today you’ll embark on a privately guided visit to the UNESCO-listed archaeological zone of Teotihuacan, renowned for having the third and fourth largest pyramidal structures in the world.
You’ll also visit the Shrine of the Virgin of Guadalupe.
Today you’ll be transferred to the airport for your flight to Merida, the so-called capital of the Yucatan Peninsula built on the site of an ancient Mayan city.
After checking into your hotel, the rest of the day will be spent at your leisure.

This morning, your private guide will take you on a historic exploration of the region’s top archaeological sites: the Mayan ruins at Uxmal and Kabah. As a World Heritage site, Uxmal is one of the best restored ruins in the Yucatan Peninsula, and certainly one of the most impressive.
This morning you’ll be transferred to your hacienda close to the ruins of Chichen Itza.
The afternoon will be spent at your leisure.
Enjoy a tour of the fascinating Mayan ruins of Chichen Itza, the most famous and well-restored Yucatán Maya. Visit the great ball court, plazas, observatory, and temples of this beautiful area before having the chance to take a refreshing dip in one of the most important Mayan Cenotes or freshwater lagoons.
Today you’ll head for the coast of Tulum where you’ll spend the next three nights relaxing by the beach, enjoying the landscape and indulging in local food.
Spend the final few days of your holiday at your leisure. Kick back beside the swimming pool at your hotel or on the sweeping beach. You can also visit the Sian Ka’an Biosphere and the Mayan ruins of Tulum and Koba. Your Lightfoot Travel Designer will be able to advise on activities prior to departure.
