Luxury Island Hopping in French Polynesia

Day 1

Arrival Taha'a

Upon arrival you will be met by a representative and escorted to the pier for a 40-minute boat journey to the resort.

After checking into your accommodation, and a little time to settle in, you’ll head on your first adventure - witnessing French Polynesia from the skies. See its motu and large wild bays from above in a Cessna 208 Caravan amphibian, tick the moment off your bucket list, and keep the memory in your bank to last forever. 

Return in time for a sunset cocktail and a celebratory start to your holiday.

Day 2

Full Day Private Tahaa Nui Tour by Boat

Spend the day on the lagoon of Taha’a. Snorkel with blacktip sharks and stingrays, swim at the octopus hole, and visit a pearl farm, coral garden and traditional vanilla plantation.

A barbecue lunch will be served and you’ll be returned back to your hotel in the late afternoon. 
 

Day 3

Private Half Day Cultural Tour

After breakfast, head on a half day cultural tour of Raiatea with a private guide. Learn about local life before visiting a factory where virgin coconut oil is made, then continue to the Marae of Taputapuatea (traditional temple).

The remainder of the day will be at leisure. We recommend exploring the hotel’s amazing coral reef or crossing the lagoon to discover a rum distillery.

Day 4

Taha'a – Bora Bora

This morning you’ll be privately transferred to the airport on Raiatea Island for your flight to Bora Bora. Upon arrival you’ll be met by a representative and escorted to your next accommodation.

After being greeted with flower garlands and scented washcloths, you’ll board the resort’s private boat for the 15-minute journey to your overwater suite or beach villa.

The rest of the day will be spent at leisure.

Day 5

The Heart of Tupai : Shared Flight

Today you’ll be escorted on a half an hour scenic flight over the turquoise lagoon of Bora Bora and the heart shaped atoll of Tupai. See the mosaic of splendid bungalows, the Maitra point, remains from World War II, and more. 

Day 6

“Vaiana” Private Lagoon Tour

The best way to explore the mythical lagoon of Bora Bora? Spend the day on a glamorous floating lounge equipped with an upper deck slide, comfy sofas, great speakers for music and a comfortable lounge. 

A ‘Vaiana’ lunch of fish, shrimp and meat skewers, rice, seasonal vegetables and tropical fruits will be served. 

Day 7

Shared Bora Bora Sunset Cruise

Today will be at leisure for you to soak up your surroundings. Visit the resort’s artificial “lagoonarium” for snorkelling with tropical fish; go sailing, paddleboarding or kayaking; or indulge in one of the four marvelous restaurants. 

In the evening you’ll embark on a shared luxurious sunset cruise on Bora Bora’s lagoon. Beverages will be served as you immerse yourself in the tranquility and natural beauty of your surroundings. 

Day 8

Bora Bora

Today is all yours to do as much or as little as you please.

From watersports, to spa treatments, to daily excursions to simply swinging in a hammock, speak to your Lightfoot Travel Designer who’ll be able to suggest activities to suit your needs. 

Day 9

Bora Bora – Tahiti – Tetiaroa

Today you’ll be escorted to the airport for your flight to Tetiaroa via Tahiti. Upon arrival you’ll be transferred to The Brando, Marlon Brando’s private atoll which is now home to a stunning beach resort. 

After familiarizing yourself with your new surroundings, enjoy a romantic dinner at Les Mutinés, the hotel’s restaurant which serves delectable favourites such as salt-baked scallops and mahi-mahi with ginger.

Day 10

Tetiaroa

Spend today relaxing on the pure-white sands. For something more energetic, excursions include lagoon tours, visits to the island's eco-station, playing tennis or watersports.

A highlight is the Varua Spa, which is hidden away in the coconut palms and offers soothing Polynesian treatments.

Day 11

Tetiaroa – Tahiti

Today you’ll be escorted to the airport for your flight back to Tahiti. Upon arrival you’ll be transferred to your accommodation. 

Spend the rest of your time lounging by the resort’s two pools, enjoying the beach, joining in with some water sports or have a spa treatment. Don’t miss your last French Polynesian sunset of the holiday, complete with views of the island of Moorea.

Day 12

Departure

Today you’ll be escorted to the airport for your onward journey home.
