Acacia Cliffs Lodge is a unique luxury boutique lodge set on the hillside overlooking Lake Taupo on New Zealand’s North Island. Designed to maximize the spectacular lake and mountain views, this elegant property combines the charm of the original pole house with contemporary New Zealand style.

The lodge accommodates up to eight guests in four elegant and spacious suites. Each suite features contemporary décor, a luxurious bathroom, and either a large private deck with breath-taking views or a courtyard garden. The entire lodge can be booked on an exclusive basis.

There’s an array of gastronomic experiences. Enjoy gourmet breakfasts, romantic candlelit dinners, or evening meals with new acquaintances. There are also plenty of excellent dining options in Taupo.

A variety of activities are available. Go walking, mountain biking, swimming at the nearby Acacia Bay Lodge, or simply relax on a sun lounger and enjoy the scenery. At the end of a busy day, be pampered with a massage at the spa.

Location & Getting There
Acacia Cliffs Lodge is a unique luxury boutique lodge set on the hillside overlooking Lake Taupo on New Zealand’s North Island, a 20-minute drive from Taupo Airport, or a 45-minute drive from Rotorua Airport.

Accommodation
The lodge accommodates up to eight guests in four elegant and spacious suites. Parawera Suite boasts gorgeous lake views and sunrises from its large private deck and floor-to-ceiling windows. Kaimanawa Suite also features a private, furnished deck from which stunning lake and mountain views can be enjoyed. Wharewaka Suite has a much larger living space with its open-plan bedroom and sitting room, along with the private deck which faces the sea. Mapara Suite features a private courtyard and a deluxe free-standing bath with views opening out to a tranquil garden setting.

Activities
There are endless experiences for guests such as jet boating, bungy jumping, scenic flights over Lake Taupo, boat cruises, trout fishing, mountain biking, swimming at the nearby Acacia Bay mountain skiing, visits to hot springs, thunderous waterfalls, towering volcanoes, sky diving, and hunting.

Children are welcome at Acacia Cliffs Lodge but there are no specific facilities available.
