Each of the three spacious and lavish bedrooms at Uplands Homestead have been designed with comfort in mind. Interior décor combines 1820’s Settler style with a fresh and contemporary look. Each suite has a veranda, perfect for relaxing on as you sip a G&T.
Kwandwe is an area rich in cultural and natural heritage and there are endless experiences and adventures to be had, from twice daily game drives to a scenic flight over the Frontier Region.

Location & Getting There
Uplands Homestead is located 160 km east of Port Elizabeth on South Africa’s Eastern Cape close to the Garden Route. It is two hours from Port Elizabeth airport.
Accommodation
It accommodates up to six guests in three spacious and beautifully appointed bedrooms, each one featuring upholstered furnishings, clawfoot bathtubs and antiques.
Activities
Day and night game drives, bird watching, bush walks, river safaris, bird watching, rhino tracking, cultural tours and historical walks can all be arranged.
Children
Uplands Homestead is an ideal place for families but it is recommended for those with children aged six and over. Kwandwe is a malaria-free game reserve and there is plenty of space on the homestead for children to run around as well as activities for them to enjoy. Babysitting can be arranged.
