Belmond Savute Elephant Camp, Chobe National Park, Botswana
One of the most luxurious lodges in Chobe National Park, Botswana, Belmond Savute Elephant Camp blends beautifully into the surrounding bush with canvas walls, light wood and eco-friendly bamboo decking. Both the camp and the Savuti area shine during the winter months from June to October when the dry landscapes attract large herds of elephant and buffalo, and there’s a particular reputation for lions, leopards and wild dogs. The famed Savuti Marshes were a focus in the National Geographic documentary Savage Kingdom.
