Bio Habitat

Perched at the highest mountain point in Colombia's famous Coffee Region, Bio Habitat Hotel is surrounded by over 16,000 square meters of native forest. The hotel is designed to blend seamlessly with its natural surroundings, integrating its architectural spaces with the environment.

The hotel features 12 suites or 'habitats' inspired by nature, offering an immersive experience with the surrounding natural landscape. Guests can choose from the Mountain Experience (views of the impressive Andes) or Forest Experience (suites suspended amongst the flora and fauna of the surrounding rainforest).

There is a restaurant where guests can enjoy meals prepared with fresh, regional produce and the BO Wellness Centre that offers a range of relaxation and wellness treatments including massages, spa treatments, and wellness therapies.

The esxtensive activities on offer here are inspired by nature, including birdwatching, hiking, trekking, mountain biking, horseback riding, and tours of nearby towns and coffee plantations.

Location & Getting There

Bio Habitat is a 30 minute drive from El Eden airport in Armenia and 45 minutes from Pereira Matecaña airport (flights to Bogota approx. 1 hour). It is an ideal point to visit the charming towns of Quindío like Salento (20 min), Filandia (15 min) and Valle del Cocora (35 min) declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.

Children

Bio Habitat Hotel is family-friendly, but children must be 12 years old. The hotel offers spacious options like the Snowcapped Mountain Cabin, which has two rooms and private bathrooms, ideal for families.
