La Casona Matetic’s setting in the San Antonio Valley, between Valparaiso and Santiago, is a 1-hour drive from Santiago International Airport.

The 7 rooms, all named after wines that are produced onsite, are quite traditional in style but very comfortable. They have ensuite bathrooms, a private terrace with tables and chairs, central heating, and can be fitted with either a king-size bed or two single beds. The windows open out to stunning landscapes of the gardens or vineyards.
Activities
An expert-led guided tour of the property's organic winery with wine tasting is included in stays, whilst the extensive grounds have plenty of hiking and riding trails. Isla Negra, renowned as the home of Chilean poet Pablo Neruda, and Valparaiso, a quirky historic port town, are close by on the coast and well worth a day visit away from the peaceful countryside.
