Accommodation

The Grove has 214 luxurious rooms and suites in the mansion and west wing. Each room is fitted with a king-size bed and Bamford amenities, and all suites are carefully designed by Martin Hulbert, complementing the archaic Georgian features.

Food & Drink

Dining options are abundant here, with lots of options to choose from. International cuisine is served at The Glasshouse; modern classics can be enjoyed in The Stables, Southeast Asian-inspired cuisine at Sequoia Kitchen, and indulgent Indian cuisine can be enjoyed at Madhu’s restaurant. Guests can also partake in a nostalgic afternoon tea and light bites at one of the lounge. For those wanting a bit more action, Feast On Cloud 9 offers a hot air balloon dining experience, or visit an Italian pop-up restaurant located in a potting shed.

Activities

Activities for all ages are available at The Grove. Get stuck into long walks through the British countryside, archery, croquet or football, golf on the 18-hole Golf Course, a rally on two all-weather tennis courts, a state-of-the-art gym, spa and a heated swimming pool. Kids can also retreat to the Grove’s wonderful kids club when parents want a well-deserved break.

Children

Sustainability

The Grove is dedicated to sustainability with initiatives like Jemima’s Kitchen Garden, which provides fresh produce for its restaurants, as well as crafting its own beer, gin, and honey. It conserves resources with a rainfall compensation system, solar panels, and energy-efficient LED lighting, while a wetland regeneration project enhances biodiversity. The estate offers plant-based dining options to reduce its carbon footprint, processes food waste via an aerobic digester, and uses eco-friendly cleaning products. With electric vehicles, roof gardens, and a zero-landfill policy, The Grove embodies a holistic approach to environmental stewardship.

How to get there

Taxi, car hire, or trains are the easiest way to reach the property. The option for a helicopter is open, with a helipad on site.
