Ideally positioned opposite Crossing Point 4—at the heart of the Mara River’s key crossing points—the camp provides front-row seats to the dramatic wildebeest river crossings during the Great Migration. Beyond the river, the region's rolling savannahs, boulder-strewn hills, and fig-tree groves are home to vast herds of wildebeest, topi, and zebra. These enormous gatherings attract a host of predators, creating an ever-shifting spectacle of survival. Game viewing here is truly world-class, with regular sightings of cheetahs, lions, and elephants. For the lucky few, spotting the Big Five in a single day is not out of the question.

Accommodation

The camp is small with just eight double tents and two family suites set amidst the shade of Acacia trees. Each tent has an en suite bathroom, enormous wrought-iron beds and beautiful Moroccan rugs.

Serian's Serengeti Mobile Lamai is set on the Lamai Wedge in the very north of the Serengeti National Park, 1km from the Mara River Crossing Point 4. The nearest airstrip is Lamai.
