Day 3
Wadi Rum Camel Ride and Bedouin Jeep Tour

This morning after checking out, drive south to Wadi Rum. Here the family will set off on a camel ride which is an incredible way to introduce yourself to this hauntingly beautiful desert.

After the camel ride (which does get a bit sore after a while!), board a Jeep and set off to visit some of the further flung sites with your Bedouin driver.

Once the kids are tired of scrambling over the rock formations, drive to your luxury tented camp for the evening. Enjoy dinner outdoors under the stars and enjoy Bedouin music as you enjoy the absolute peace and quiet of the desert.

After checking out you will drive north back to Amman with a few stops along the way.

First, stop at Madaba perched on an archaeological site with its mosaic flooring that has made it one of the most prominent cities in the world for mosaics.

Day 8
Jerash and Amman Walking Tour

This morning drive 1 hour north to Jerash. A close second to Petra on the list of favourite destinations in Jordan, the ancient city of Jerash boasts an unbroken chain of human occupation dating back more than 6,500 years.

Return to Amman and set off on a fun walking tour of the capital, sure to tire out the kiddos and ensure some peace and quiet for parents in the evening! Start on foot, at the Royal Society for Conservation of Nature (Wild Jordan), with a quick explanation on reserves throughout Jordan.

Pass through shops to the famous “Hashem” Restaurant, which caters to the poor, middle class and the rich and famous. After enjoying this unique experience, head onto yet another famous food place; to the well-known “Habiba”, where Knafeh would be served, a mix of goat cheese covered with dough on top and sprinkled with syrup leaves.
