Dubai & The Desert

Day 1

Arrival Dubai

Upon arrival at the airport, you’ll be met by a representative who’ll privately transfer you to your accommodation.

The remainder of the day will be spent at your leisure. Your Lightfoot Travel Designer can advise on activities prior to arrival.

Day 2

Dubai and the Burj Khalifa

This morning will be spent at leisure. Relax by the pools, enjoy some watersports or play a round of golf on one of Dubai's world-class courses.

At sunset, you’ll experience drinks from the top of the Burj Khalifa after taking in the sweeping panoramas from the viewing deck on the 123rd floor.

Afterward, we recommend heading down to the Dubai Mall and watching the spectacular dancing fountain show.

Day 3

Dubai City Tour

This morning you’ll enjoy a Dubai City Tour. Visit the famous Palm Jumeirah, the world’s largest man-made island, then proceed to “Old Dubai” to explore the Dubai Museum and Bastakia area.

You’ll cross Dubai Creek in a traditional Abra to the Gold and Spice souks, where you’ll spend time wandering through the streets and taking in the hustle and bustle, and the smells, colors, and people.

Later, return to your hotel for the afternoon to relax before dinner.

Day 4

Desert Safari Experience

Spend this morning at leisure before being picked up from the hotel in the late afternoon for your desert safari experience.

Prepare to venture out to the desert and be driven through the dunes of the Dubai Desert Conservation Reserve in a luxurious Range Rover. This is your chance to take photos of the desert landscape, spot native wildlife, enjoy a camel ride, watch a falconry display, and indulge in a fine dining dinner whilst watching the Flaming Sands of Arabia performance.

Day 5

Optional Excursions

Enjoy an Abu Dhabi City Tour – your chance to experience the UAE’s capital city. Head to Ferrari World to ride on the world’s fastest rollercoaster and explore the stunning Grande Mosque.

Alternatively, head to the Burj Al Arab, often described as the world’s most luxurious hotel, for a delicious afternoon tea. Enjoy the 7* service, Michelin-standard cuisine, and atmosphere.

Day 6

Desert Resort - Al Maha Resort & Spa

After breakfast, you’ll be privately escorted to the Al Maha Desert Resort, a verdant palm oasis, deep within Dubai’s rolling dunes.

After checking in, you’ll be free to relax by the pool while spying on the indigenous Arabian wildlife and admiring the desert landscape.

Day 7

Camel Trek and Desert Activities

Spend the day enjoying authentic desert activities. Try traditional archery or falconry, go on a unique camel trek through the desert, experience a wildlife drive, or indulge in a romantic picnic in the dunes.

Day 8

Departure

Today you’ll be escorted to the airport for your onward journey home.
