Enjoy views of Fishtail Mountain from your lodge at Pokhara. This sacred peak is the second-highest mountain in the Annapurna Mountains and is untouched by humans, as it’s believed to be home to Lord Shiva. Gliding across Lake Phewa on a boat cruise will also be a stand-out moment.

Day 1
Arrival Kathmandu

Upon arrival at the airport, you’ll be escorted by private car to your accommodation in Kathmandu.

The remainder of your day will be spent at leisure. Relax around the pool, treat yourself to a massage, or head into Kathmandu.

Day 2
Kathmandu – Pokhara

This morning you’ll be escorted to the airport for the 25-minute flight to Pokhara – watch out for sublime views of the Annapurna Mountains from the air.

You’ll be greeted and escorted to your lodge, high in the Pokhara Valley with a dramatic Himalayan backdrop. Relax at the lodge, or venture out for a trek in the valley.

Day 3
Pokhara – Annapurna Mountains

Over the next two days, you’ll have the chance to explore the Pokhara Valley and Annapurna Mountains at your leisure. There’s a range of activities on offer at your lodge, including hikes with local guides, birdwatching tours, visiting Pokhara, and golfing. Relax with a massage, yoga or meditation; if you’re feeling adventurous, try paragliding or micro-light flights.

Day 5
5 Boudhanath Stupa in the Kathmandu valley, Nepal

Day 4
Pokhara – Terai Plains

Today, you have a long drive ahead as you’re transported to the Terai Plains - a drive of around six hours. Along the way, you’ll get a glimpse of rural life as you pass villages and rice fields.

Settle into your lodge and round off the day with a Nepali feast.

Day 6,7

Day 5
Rural Nepal

Over the next two days, you’ll have time to explore rural Nepal and enjoy wildlife encounters. Spend time with elephants, enjoy guided walks through the jungle, and go birdwatching with an experienced guide.

There are also opportunities to explore local villages, visit community projects such as the Tiger Tops Swiss Air School, take a sunset boat trip on the Narayani River, or go exploring in a bullock cart.

Day 8
8 Boudhanath Stupa in the Kathmandu valley, Nepal

Day 6
Kathmandu

This morning you’ll be transferred to the airport for your flight back to Kathmandu. We can arrange for a guide to take you around the Royal Palace and Durbar Square, or you can wander at leisure.

In the evening, enjoy dinner in a renowned local restaurant.

Day 7
Departure

Today you’ll be escorted to the airport for your onward journey.

Day 9

Day 8
Kathmandu

Your final day in Kathmandu is yours to enjoy as you please. Explore more of the city and museums, or relax at your hotel.
