Day 1 Arrival Berlin
Upon arrival at the airport, you’ll be escorted by car to your accommodation.
After a quick refresh, you’ll head on a privately guided tour on foot and via car to explore this diverse and fascinating city.
Day 2 Berlin - Potsdam
Today you’ll enjoy a full-day guided tour of Potsdam’s palaces and parks, including Palace Sanssouci, the summer residence of Frederick the Great.
Back in Berlin, visit the subterranean labyrinth of Berliner Unterwelten, home to World War Two bunkers, and admire Berlin’s skyline from the top of its tallest building, the Berlin Tower.
Day 3 Berlin - Potsdam
Spend today continuing to explore Berlin.

Day 4 Dresden – Meissen – Saxon Switzerland
This morning you’ll begin your stay with a trip to Meissen, home to Renaissance and Gothic buildings and Europe’s first porcelain factory.
Day 5 Dresden – Meissen – Saxon Switzerland
Today, enjoy a guided walk through Dresden’s historic city centre and marvel at the fairy-tale Moritzburg Castle, set amid idyllic countryside.
Day 6 Dresden – Meissen – Saxon Switzerland
Next, you’ll visit Saxon Switzerland to hike through the countryside to Neurathen Castle.
Day 7 Munich
This morning you’ll transfer to Munich for a guided tour of the city, ending at the baroque palace of Nymphenburg.
Day 8 Munich – Berchtesgaden
Today you'll enjoy some historic tours. First to Berchtesgaden, renowned for its summer outdoors activities, and second to the infamous Eagle’s Nest building, which belonged to Hitler.
Day 9 Berchtesgaden – Neuschwanstein Castle
Today you’ll continue to Germany’s most famous fairy-tale castle, Neuschwanstein, and the palace of Linderhof, former home of King Maximilan .
Day 10 Stuttgart – Black Forest
Continue to the lively city of Stuttgart, home of Porsche and Mercedes Benz.
After settling into your hotel, the rest of the day will be spent at leisure. Your Travel Designer can advise on activities prior to departure.
Day 11 Stuttgart – Black Forest
Today will be spent discovering the city on a walking tour, visiting the Mercedes Museum, and delving into the heart of the Black Forest.
Day 12 Frankfurt am Main
Your final destination is Germany’s financial centre, Frankfurt am Main.
After you’ve settled into your hotel you will be free to spend time at leisure. Your Travel Designer can advise on activities prior to departure.
Day 13 Goethe House & Museum - Departure
This morning you’ll visit the Goethe House & Museum to learn about Goethe’s life and the époque he lived in.
Afterwards, you’ll be escorted to the airport for your onward journey.
