Arrival Ljubljana, Slovenia

Upon arrival at Ljubljana Airport, you’ll be escorted by car to your accommodation on the edge of the Old Town.

The remainder of your day will be spent at leisure.

Day 2
Ljubljana – Lake Bled

After breakfast, you’ll embark on a walking tour of Ljubljana’s Old Town. Your guide will explain the city’s fascinating 5,000-year history, while you wander along cobblestone streets and spot the city’s most important buildings and sights.

The day will end with a cruise on the river so you can see the sights from a different perspective. Then head to Lake Bled on a private transfer, where you’ll check-in and enjoy some leisure time.

Lake Bled – Lake Bohinj

Enjoy a full day’s excursion to two of Slovenia’s most beautiful lakes: Lake Bohinj and Lake Bled. You’ll speed across Slovenia’s largest glacial lake, Bohinj, on a private boat tour before heading up the Vogel Cable Car for a rustic mountain lunch in the heart of the Triglav National Park.

In the afternoon you’ll return to Bled where you’ll enjoy a traditional Pletna ride to Bled Island, and visit Bled Castle for an insight into the region during medieval times.

Lake Bled – Rovinj, Croatia

After breakfast, you’ll be privately transferred to Rovinj, a romantic town on Croatia’s Istrian peninsula.

Check into your hotel, then enjoy a private tour of this small Croatian fishing village, including a trip to Saint Euphemia Cathedral and up its bell tower for views over the region.

Rovinj

This morning, you’ll head on an exciting hunt in the forests around Rovinj for one of Istria’s prized assets – truffles. Afterwards you’ll visit a local shop to sample the many ways that Croatians use truffles in their food. This will be accompanied by some of the best Moscatos from Kozlovic winery.

Rovinj – Motovun – Groznjan

Visit the rustic hill towns of Motovun and Groznjan on a full-day private tour of Istria. Learn about their early beginnings as fortified towns and their development during medieval times.

After the visit to the picturesque town Groznjan, the cultural center of the region that buzzes with art galleries and lives music, transfer to your next accommodation.

Rovinj – Pula – Opatija

After breakfast, you’ll head to the southern tip of Istria for a private tour of Pula. You’ll learn about Pula’s history, which dates back to Roman times and visit the Colosseum, Temple of Augustus, and Arch of Sergii.

In the afternoon you’ll be privately transferred to Opatija, a coastal town at the foot of the Ucka Mountain Range. Check-in and enjoy some leisure time.

Opatija – Plitvice Lakes

Today, you’re off to one of Croatia’s most beautiful regions, the UNESCO-listed Plitvice Lakes National Park.

Spend the day exploring the 16 interconnected lakes and admiring the turquoise waters and gushing waterfalls, resplendent amid autumn colors.

Plitvice Lakes – Zagreb

In the morning you’ll be privately transferred to the capital of Croatia, Zagreb.
