Day 1
Arrival Scotland

Upon arrival in Scotland, you’ll be met by a Lightfoot Travel representative and privately escorted to your hotel. 

The rest of your day will be spent at your leisure, armed with our list of recommended attractions and restaurants to help you have a great start to your trip.
 

Day 2

Discover the Cairngorms

Today you’ll take a private 4x4 ride into the heart of the mountains to look for wildlife. 

Afterwards, head to a Royal Distillery for a private tour with the Distillery manager and a signed bottle of the “Distillery Only Bottling” single malt to take away with you.

Foraging and wildlife

Spend the morning with an experienced ghillie, learning the art of foraging. 

In the afternoon, enjoy lunch in a spectacular location in the national park, followed by a gentle walk around the Lin of Dee, admiring the local surroundings. 

Time permitting, you can fit in time for a round of golf at Royal Aberdeen.

Spice Workshop & Whisky

After breakfast you’ll start your day with a morning tour of the works of art of the Fife Arms, Braemar. 

Afterwards, you’ll head to Glenlivet in the heart of the Scottish wilderness for a spice and whisky workshop with an acclaimed chef. In addition, you’ll tuck into some delicious food on the outside deck while soaking up the beautiful nature and scenery. 
 

Day 5

Country Pursuits

This morning you’ll have the chance to play golf at the Royal Dornoch Golf Club, or spend the morning fishing on one of the finest Salmon rivers in the country.

You’ll then continue to Cromarty to look out for dolphins, and to take a walk along the shore before enjoy lunch in a local cafe. 

Lastly, you’ll head on a private tour of Glenmorangie distillery, finishing off in the Signet room where you’ll sample two of the rarest and richest whiskies in their collection.
 

Day 6

Orkney

Embark on a helicopter trip to Orkney for the day. 

This fascinating island has the largest collection of Neolithic artefacts in Europe, so this will be a day to remember. Visit Skara Brae and learn about how people lived here back in prehistoric times, take a tour of the Ring of Brodgar, and see if you can unlock the secret of the “Heart of Neolithic Orkney”.

Departure

Before heading to the airport for your departure, you will have a morning tour of Culloden with a private guide. This is where The Battle of Culloden took place, and where the British troops defeated the Scottish Jacobite army for the final time near Inverness.
