This luxury boutique lodge lies on the Lyngen Peninsula overlooking the Lyngen Fjord with a dramatic backdrop of snow-capped mountains, in Norway’s Arctic Circle. Designed to blend in with the natural surroundings, Lyngen Lodge has been constructed from pinewood with a rustic interior decorated in soft pastel shades.
The lodge provides eight elegantly appointed and cozy rooms decorated in a rustic-chic style with sleek Scandinavian influences. There are endless mountain and fjord-based activities on offer in summer and winter. Between November and March, you can witness the magical northern lights and dogsled, boat cruises, ice fishing, and snowshoeing can be arranged.
After a tiring day, relax with a glass of fine wine in front of the fire or sip a glass of champagne in the hot tub. In the summer months, the activities range from hiking and horse riding to fishing and watersports.

Location & Getting There
The lodge is located in Djupvik in Norway. It is 2.5 hours from the airport at Tromsø, which is easily accessible via a connecting flight from Oslo.
Accommodation
It accommodates up to 18 guests in 8 beautifully decorated twin or double rooms (10-sqm), each with ensuite bathrooms with a shower. Rooms are decorated with white furniture, fur rugs, and a color palette of black, brown, and cream.
Activities
Winter activities include ski tours, dog sledding, skiing, and sightseeing cruises. In summer, choose from river fishing, trekking, horse riding, and kayaking.
Children
The lodge welcomes children and there is plenty to keep them busy.
Norway is amazing at any time of year and Lyngen Lodge is wonderfully positioned to be a base in all seasons. From here you can go skiing, dog sledding in spring, hiking in summer, and wildlife watching in autumn. And of course, it also makes for a lovely base to see the Northern Lights in the colder months. Don’t forget to get a fjord view room to really enjoy the stunning location!
