The main building is a converted Renaissance palace which was the private residence of Florentine nobles for five hundred years, and it only became the Four Seasons Florence in 2008. Il Palagio is the main restaurant and serves Tuscan and Italian cuisine. The glass-roofed Atrium Bar also serves drinks and light meals.

The Four Seasons spa has ten treatment rooms, an outdoor pool, a fitness center, a steam room, and all treatments use products from Florence’s oldest pharmacy.
