With 27 rooms, including 19 suites, the manor’s guests can delight in an amalgamation of old and new as modern comforts complement preserved Turkish features. The individual residences and two villas have a more contemporary feel.
Dine at Sterna, next to a Byzantine cistern, for dishes using produce straight from the garden courtesy of chef Yorgos Chapsas. All-day eatery Mouries serves Greek cuisine and has Aegean-facing tables while scents of fresh bread waft from Taverna Linos.
A working estate with an active olive press, vineyards, bakery, and textiles, the Kinsterna provides guests with the chance to participate in the production. A visit to fairy tale Monemvasia is perfectly concluded poolside or at the hotel’s renowned spa.

This is a small but perfectly formed escape surrounded by olive trees, lemon groves, and vineyards. Utterly charming, it has been respectfully renovated keeping the fireplaces, windows, and Byzantine arches intact. The rooms are a lovely mix of old and new with a slightly medieval ambiance, and we especially like the facilities that include swimming pools, Turkish Baths, and whirlpool tubs to keep both parents and children cool in the unforgiving Mediterranean heat.
