The hotel combines old-world Spanish colonial charm and traditional Mayan throughout. The bathrooms come with large mirrors and intricate mosaic-tiled bathtubs. Depending on room type, views include the lap pool, volcanoes, and gardens.

A dining experience in the Main Sala with vaulted ceilings, while seated amongst fine wines and original artworks is a treat for the senses. Enjoy cocktails at sunset on the fabulous rooftop terrace which has panoramic views of the city and the volcanoes. Guests can also cool off in the lap pool after a day of exploring or take a tour around the hotel’s very own art gallery. Yoga sessions are also available.

Meson Panza Verde is in the heart of Antigua city, and a 40-minute drive away from Guatemala City and its airport.

There are 12 rooms - three doubles and nine suites. No two rooms are decorated alike, each one features a fireplace and seating area, and carefully chosen authentic artworks and Mayan decoration. Some rooms have beautifully mosaic-tiled bathtubs, while others boast a private Jacuzzi and private living rooms. The Junior Suites come with a Spanish balcony overlooking the garden below with cascading bougainvillea vines. Master Suites feature French doors leading out to a private garden with a stone fountain while the Grand Suite has sweeping views of Volcan Agua and a hot water Jacuzzi, perfect for couples on honeymoon.

Activities

Guests at Meson Panza Verde can start their day with a yoga session at the yoga studio before breakfast. With all prominent attractions of the city within walking distance, guests can take advantage of the excellent location of Meson Panza Verde and enjoy easy strolls down Antigua’s beautifully preserved cobbled stone streets.
