“This itinerary showcases the very best that Barossa and South Australia has to offer, alongside the incredible opportunity to learn the principles of winemaking, with renowned Hentley Farm chief winemaker Andrew Quin. You’ll blend your very own wine, finishing with 800 bottles of your own private blend with a personalised label. You’ll also be appointed an official Hentley Farm Brand Ambassador.”
Upon arrival at the airport you’ll be met by a representative and privately escorted by car to your accommodation.
After checking-in and familiarising yourself with your surroundings you’ll be privately driven to Cleland Wildlife Park – a paradise for Australia's unique animals. You’ll enjoy a gentle walk with your guide, spotting wildlife such as kangaroos, wallabies and koalas.
You’ll return to your hotel to relax before dinner at the famous Georges on Waymouth. Depending on your energy levels, Adelaide’s night life awaits!
After breakfast you’ll be driven to Hentley Farm in the Barossa Valley, your home for the next three nights.
After check-in you’ll head on a VIP tour of the winery and grounds before lunch with the chief winemaker Andrew Quin. A professional photographer will be in attendance throughout to capture your special memories.
The afternoon will be free for you to spend at leisure. In the evening you’ll dine at Hentley Farm Restaurant – one of only two Relais & Chateaux restaurants in Australia.
This morning you’ll take a short walk through the beautiful vineyard to the winery. Together with Andrew Quin, ambassador for Barossa wine and winemaker, you’ll learn about wine blending and make your own Barossa Valley wine blend under his professional guidance.
Lunch will be served outdoors at the winery with a backdrop of the beautiful scenery of the vineyard, after which you’ll tour the Barossa Valley in your private limousine.
You’ll visit famous wineries such as Seppeltsfield, the only winery in the world that produces a hundred-year-old fortified wine; Wolf Blass winery (Nuriootpa), where you can taste 'Black from the Barrel' and admire the works of famous Australian artists; Barossa Distillers for a spot of Barossa’s finest gin; and Lindsay Wine Estate, where you can kick back with a glass of their finest in hand.
Dinner will take place at the legendary Ferment Asian Restaurant in Tanunda.
After breakfast, your private helicopter will take off from the Barossa Valley for an amazing flight over Adelaide towards the wine region of McLaren Vale, arriving at arguably the most beautiful winery location in the area - Maxwell Wines.
You’ll enjoy a tour of the winery you discover McLaren Vale before indulging in a personalised series of signature dishes created by an acclaimed Head Chef. Of course, your food will be matched with some of the best wines of McLaren Vale, and Champagne from Reims, France.
After lunch, you’ll continue your wine journey with the opportunity to sample any wines from the list, or museum stocks hidden deep in the cellars.
You’ll then be transferred to your next hotel and have time at leisure before dinner.
This morning you’ll take part in the final blending of your own private label luxury wine with a senior winemaker. You’ll approve your own back label with your name applied as “co-winemaker”. Eight hundred wines will then be sent to the bottling plant to be packed for shipment to your home address anywhere in the world.
Celebrate your achievement with a barbecue overlooking the vines and an optional round of golf on the Barossa Golf Club.
Afterwards, you’ll embark on a customised winery tour (including Yalumba, Jacob’s Creek, and Henschke) or enjoy an afternoon at leisure, visiting towns such as Tanunda, Nuriootpa or Angaston.
