Pick up your hire car and drive to Rotorua via Waitomo on the self-drive route planned for you.
Stop at the Waitomo Glow Worm Caves and marvel at the ancient underground labyrinth of limestone caves and grottos along the way.
Visit Wai-O-Tapu (Sacred Waters) New Zealand’s most colorful and diverse active volcanic area with dramatic geysers, mineral terraces, lakes, craters, and bubbling mud pools. As you follow the trails you are introduced to a uniquely different natural landscape, the key to what you see lies below the surface, of one of the most extensive geothermal systems in New Zealand extending over 18 square kilometers.
Visit the Maori Arts and Crafts Institute and Te Puia Thermal Reserve where you’ll enjoy a Maori cultural experience before entering the thermal area with silica terraces, bubbling mud pools and unique geothermal vegetation.
You’ll then make your way to Taupo.
Enjoy a guided walk through native bush to Kawakawa Bay in the Western Bays of Lake Taupo. Afterwards, embark on a half day cruise visiting bays and inlets only accessible by boat.

We recommend golf at Wairakei International Course, a WD flies fishing, a scenic helicopter flight over Mt Tarawera and White Island, experiencing The Aratiatia Rapids and surrounding nature trails, or a jet boat ride on the Waikato River.
Today, you’ll drive your hire car to Hawke’s Bay.
Stop to see Huka Falls and continue along the Thermal Explorer Highway to Napier where you can go on a relaxing walk or indulge in some shopping.
Visit New Zealand's native bird, the kiwi, in the wild. You’ll get to see the guides carrying out monitoring of the kiwi chicks after they’ve been released on to the property, and you can join them as they check the radio transmitters and weigh and measure the birds to monitor their wellbeing.

Visit vineyards including Craggy Range, Te Mata Estate, Elephant Hill and New Zealand’s historic Mission Vineyard; drive up Te Mata Peak for stunning views; relax on Waimarama and Ocean Beach; or play golf at one of the most renowned golf course at Cape Kidnappers.

Today you’ll drive to Auckland. En route, stop at the Kaimai Cheese Company at Waharoa, and visit the Hobbiton movie set, the location for the Lord of the Rings.
After checking out, you’ll be transferred to Auckland Airport by car, in time for your onward flight to Fiji.
On arrival at Fiji Island, you will be escorted to the resort of your choice.
Relax in your beach paradise. Try surfing, paddleboarding, scuba diving, yoga; go island hopping around the Mamanuca Islands; enjoy a sunset cruise followed by watching films under the stars.
Here you can go scuba diving and snorkeling to enjoy manta ray sightings, visit waterfalls, and go on an island-hopping picnic. Alternatively, find a spot under a shady palm tree and kick back with a book.

Today you’ll be taken by seaplane to Nadi Airport for your onward journey.
