Designed to blend in with the surroundings, the lodge has been constructed from timber and features an open plan design, high ceilings, full trunk pillars, a vast river stone fireplace, and enormous windows to maximize the views.
The property provides ten spacious and stylish rooms overlooking the lake. Each room features a super-king bed, fine linen, and a luxurious bathroom. For those wanting to indulge, the Executive Suite, situated at the top of the main lodge, is superb. There are an additional two traditional log cabins suitable for families.
Fiordland Lodge Restaurant offers a unique dining experience overlooking Lake Te Anau. The farm-to-table concept emphasizes freshness, simplicity, and seasonal flavors. Children under five are not permitted at Fiordland Lodge Restaurant.
The departure point for the world-famous Milford Track walk is only 600m away, and the lodge is a popular spot for stargazing due to its lack of air and light pollution.
