“Bali offers superb hotels with kids’ clubs, along with a deep-rooted culture and the natural beauty of the beach, jungle and wildlife. The local people love sharing their culture and traditions so everyone of all ages gets to learn as they travel.”

Arrival Bali

Upon arrival in Denpasar Airport you’ll be met by a Lightfoot Travel representative and privately escorted by car to your accommodation.

The Four Seasons Sayan is a fantastic hotel for families. The Pici Pici Club offers fun for children aged five to 12 years old and the programme is divided into sports, adventure-based games, creative play and arts and crafts.

After checking in, spend the rest of the day at leisure.

Balinese Offerings & Painting

Start the day with some workshops to learn all about Balinese offerings.

First, kids will learn how to make simple offerings with flowers and what each colour means. Afterwards you’ll learn the art of Balinese painting.

The rest of the day will be spent at leisure (this is your time to book in for a spa treatment!).

Day 3
Cycling in Ubud

After breakfast you’ll embark on a cycling adventure through villages and rice paddies, taking in the gorgeous scenery and meeting Ubud residents.

Next, learn about Indonesian cooking traditions with a family cooking class. Kids will love mixing spices, picking vegetables and putting together dishes that you can all sample afterwards.

Day 4
Monkey Forest & Tanah Lot

Head on a half-day tour that takes in three very different highlights.

First, visit Pura Taman Ayun, a compound of Balinese temples and gardens, located in Mengwi. The temple was built in 1634 for the royal family and is arguably one of the most beautiful temples on the island.

Your next stop will be the Monkey Forest at Kedaton, where over 500 monkeys share the forest with numerous fruit bats.

Lastly, visit Tanah Lot, a magnificent temple built on an outcrop of rock just off the coastline of west Bali. This spiritual temple can only be accessed at low tide, and people come to drink the water and to splash it over their bodies as it is said to cleanse bad spirits. One of the highlights here is the Kecak dance, which is regularly performed in this unique setting.

Alila Seminyak has a dedicated play space for young guests, keeping them entertained and engaged with toys, games and fun, and supervised indoor and outdoor activities.

The rest of the day is at leisure.
