Shinta Mani Wild
Koh KongUnique, wild and free, Shinta Mani Wild, Cambodia is the brainchild of hotel design guru and resort owner Bill Bensley. Located at the meeting point of three Cambodian parks – the Kirirom, Bokor and Cardamom – the 15 custom-designed tents are dotted along a 1.5-kilometre stretch of river and waterfalls.
Perched above free-flowing waters, the luxurious tents are decorated with plush furnishings and Khmer objets d’art, evoking the sensation of a luxury safari deep in the Cambodian jungle. Bensley also designed fully equipped expedition boats, allowing adventurous guests to travel the waterways with experienced local guides searching for wildlife.
At Shinta Mani, the Waterfall Restaurant serves contemporary Khmer cuisine with ingredients sourced from the surrounding forest. The Landing Zone Bar is a great spot to swap stories with fellow guests.
Boulders Spa provides relaxation and rejuvenation amid the rainforest, with traditional Khmer treatments using natural, chemical-free products.
Getting There & Location
Set along 1.5 kilometres of river and waterfalls, this area of Cambodian wildlife connects the Bokor National Park with Kirirom National Park. Feeling adventurous? It’s reached by private car from Phnom Penh (three hours) or Sihanoukville (2.5 hours), and a 20-minute 4x4 drive across rugged red-rock track (transfers included in rates). Alternatively, guests can arrive via a 1,050ft zipline over the canopy and Tmor Rung River.

Shinta Mani Wild consists of 16 100-square-metre custom-made tents that perch over the fast-flowing waters and waterfalls.
