Zungulila Bushcamp
Luangwa ValleyThis luxury safari camp lies above a natural spring overlooking the Kapamba River and floodplains, in remote south of South Luangwa National Park, and combines old-world charm with modern comforts and mesmerising views.
Zungulila provides four spacious and elegantly appointed thatched roof tents designed for maximum privacy and comfort. Each one comes with a delightful veranda with a plunge pool, the perfect spot for sipping a glass of champagne as you watch buffalo roam the grassy plains.
Start the day with a walking safari along the river for the chance to spot lion, hippo and a huge variety of other wildlife; back at the camp cool off in your plunge pool as you admire the views; and later relax by the campfire and enjoy a delicious supper under the stars.
Zungulila is open from April to January.

Location and getting there
The camp is situated in South Luangwa National Park in Zambia. It is approximately a five-hour drive from Mfuwe International Airport.
Accommodation
Up to eight guests can be accommodated in four Meru-style thatched tents, each with its own private bamboo verandah overlooking the river and plains. Each tent features stylish decor, a four-poster bed, rosewood furniture, Persian rugs, a luxurious bathroom, an outdoor shower and a plunge pool. Two tents have two queen-size beds and two have a king-size bed.
Activities
Activities are focused on superb walking safaris but day and night game drives are on offer as well as bird watching.
Children
Children over the age of 12 are welcome however the camp is more suited to adults. (Under 12s can be accommodated if the camp is booked for private use.)
