Mana Pools National Park is renowned for its excellent birdlife, so your stay begins with a birding safari. Keep your eyes peeled for collared palm thrush, racket-tailed roller, purple-banded sunbird and black-throated wattle-eyes.
Today’s safari adventure is a thrilling guided bush walk with a trained guide, so you can experience the bush at close quarters.
In the morning, you’ll be transferred to the camp’s airstrip for your light aircraft flight to Matusadona National Park. Upon arrival, you’ll be driven to your accommodation, before a little relaxation time.
Changa Safari Camp’s location on the banks of Lake Kariba means it’s a great fishing location. Today you’ll have the opportunity to catch your lunch or dinner, with a fishing excursion on the lake and the help of an expert guide.
Today you’ll embark on a bush walk through the national park with a trained guide. The park is renowned for its large elephant population, as well as being one of the last strongholds for black rhino. There are also abundant bird species seen here.
In the morning you’ll be escorted to catch your scheduled light aircraft flight to Hwange National Park, where you’ll be met and driven to your camp. Grab a chair and watch the watering hole – one of the best wildlife-viewing spots in the park!
Your day starts early with a morning game drive through the park with your guide.
Later in the day, relax in your camp or join an excursion to a local village where you’ll meet the headman or headwoman and learn a little about their daily lives.
Enjoy a day at leisure in the camp, perhaps watching the watering hole to see the animals and birds coming for a drink. In the evening, head on a night safari to see nocturnal animals and hear the bush come to life.
You’ll be escorted to your light aircraft for your scheduled flight to the Victoria Falls National Park. Check into your hotel, which overlooks this UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Today you have the opportunity to experience the mighty Victoria Falls, known as Mosi-oa-Tunya or ‘The Smoke that Thunders’. In the morning, experience the Falls from the viewpoints – you can opt to take a dip in the Devil’s Pool.
In the afternoon, embark on the Ra-Ikane sunset cruise on the Zambezi River. As well as appreciating the stunning natural beauty, there’s a wide range of animals and birds found along the river’s edge.
Today you’ll be escorted to the airport for your onward journey.
