Upon arrival at Cape Town, you’ll be met by a representative and assisted with the collection of your rental car.

Drive to your accommodation at the foot of Table Mountain, and enjoy an afternoon at leisure.

Day 2

Cape Town

Spend your first day acquainting yourself with Cape Town. Wander along the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront, take the cable car up Table Mountain, catch the ferry to Robben Island, and sample Cape Town’s world-class dining scene. Time to use your rental car to explore the surrounding area. Amongst your options are visiting beautiful Noordhoek Beach, watching the African penguin colony at Boulders Bay, and sampling the fine dining restaurants at Camps Bay.

After breakfast, drive to Stellenbosch in the heart of the Winelands.

Check into your accommodation and relax and unwind overlooking the vineyards.

Today your private guide will take you on a tour of some of the best boutique wineries in the region. Drive through rugged mountain ranges, rolling vineyards and Cape Dutch homesteads, and sample fine wines as well as olive oil, chocolate and cheese.

Enjoy a day at leisure in Stellenbosch.

Explore more wineries, sample award-winning restaurants, or enjoy an indulgent spa ritual at your hotel.

Day 7

Time to leave The Winelands and drive to Hermanus, renowned as being one of the best land-based whale-watching destinations in the world. Your hotel is perched on the cliffs overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.

Day 8

Hermanus

Enjoy three days at leisure exploring the Hermanus region. You could spend a day enjoying the many wineries in the picturesque Hemel-en-Aarde (Heaven and Earth) Valley, go whale watching along the cliffs, or simply relax in your private plunge pool at the hotel while watching for whales out to sea.

You also have the option to go great white shark cave diving in nearby Gansbaai.

Hermanus – Cape Town – Johannesburg – Sabi Sands

Today you’ll drive back to Cape Town, drop off your rental car and jump on a flight to Johannesburg.

Upon arrival, you’ll pick up a light aircraft flight to Sabi Sands, where you’ll be met and driven to your safari lodge in Kruger National Park.  

Day 12

Kruger National Park

Spend three days on safari in Kruger National Park. Your days will revolve around morning and afternoon game drives, where you’ll see iconic African wildlife.

You also have the option of joining walking safaris with trained rangers, mountain biking, and archery. There’ll be plenty of time to relax around the pool and indulge in a massage on a private deck overlooking the bush.

Kruger National Park

Continue to enjoy morning and afternoon game drives.
