Day 1
Arrival Maun – Linyanti Wildlife Reserve
Upon arrival at Maun, board your flight to the Linyanti Wildlife Reserve. Check into the luxury DumaTau Camp, overlooking a hippo-filled lagoon.
In the afternoon, enjoy a barge cruise on the lagoon while sipping sundowners and watching for birds and other wildlife, including elephant herds and their young.
Day 2
Linyanti Wildlife Reserve
Enjoy an early morning game drive in the Linyanti Wildlife Reserve, before returning for brunch.
After a relaxing afternoon, embark on a night game drive with spotlights, looking for nocturnal creatures such as lesser bushbaby, spring hare, aardwolf, large spotted genet and, if you’re very lucky, the elusive pangolin.
Day 3
Linyanti Wildlife Reserve – Okavango Delta
After breakfast, you’ll fly to the Okavango Delta, arriving in time for lunch.
In the afternoon, you’ll be taken on a Mokoro canoe through the waterways of the Delta, looking for wildlife including colourful frogs and waterbirds.
Day 4
Okavango Delta
Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives through the Okavango Delta. In between, relax at camp and enjoy fine dining in the bush.
Day 5
Okavango Delta
Start your day with a sunrise hot air balloon ride over the Okavango Delta, where you can appreciate the unique landscape and see wildlife from a different perspective.
Return to camp for brunch and a siesta before an afternoon game drive followed by sundowners. You can opt for a second trip in a Mokoro.
Day 6
Okavango Delta – Kalahari Desert
After breakfast, you’ll catch a flight to the Kalahari Desert to check into your luxury lodge.
After settling into your camp, head out with your private guide to search for unique desert species, such as aardvark, bat eared foxes and the elusive brown hyena.
Day 7
Kalahari Desert
This morning you’ll search for one of the Kalahari’s most endearing residents, Meerkats. Thanks to a special programme, you can get up close with these charming animals, observe their social groups, and see how they interact.
After lunch, head to the Makgadikgadi Salt Pans for a quad bike adventure.
Day 8
Departure
Today you’ll be escorted to the airport for your onward journey.
