Banyan Tree Lijiang is located next to the magnificent Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, along a trade route that was once part of the historic Silk Road from Yunnan to Tibet. There are daily flights from Kunming International Airport to nearby Lijiang Airport, and from there it’s approximately 30 minutes by car to the resort.

The 55 elegant rooms, suites, and villas at Banyan Tree Lijiang are examples of Naxi décor, combining Han Chinese and Tibetan civilization with modern references. Traditional tip-tilted roofs and stone walls create striking exteriors finished in deep russet, gold, and white.
