Luangwa Valley

The Luangwa Valley in Zambia is one of Africa's chief wildlife parks, which lies at the end of the Great Rift Valley.

The Luangwa River runs through the park forming oxbow lagoons, which supports huge concentrations of wildlife and is the place to see big game on foot. The safari guides here are some of the best in Southern Africa who are only too happy to share their incredible knowledge and spot the leopards in trees from afar. If your a keen bird watcher, this is your paradise. 450 species have been recorded including cranes, flycatchers, woodpeckers, storks and carmine bee eaters.
