The Upper House, Hong Kong

Hong Kong

The Upper House sits above Pacific Place, Hong Kong’s premier integrated commercial, retail and hospitality complex.

Conveniently located at the heart of Hong Kong’s business district, the hotel is just 40 minutes away from the airport and within walking distance of many tourist attractions. The Upper House is a highly individualised small luxury hotel designed by Hong Kong architect Andre Fu.

The hotel’s 117 rooms (including 21 suites and 2 penthouses) start at 730sqft – the largest in Hong Kong. They feature wonderfully spacious bathrooms and dressing areas and offer either scenic harbour or island views. Calming and contemporary, the rooms are designed to provide a sense of relaxation, warmth and understated luxury.

Enjoy Cafe Gray Deluxe, located on level 49 with views of Victoria Harbour. The restaurant signals the return to Hong Kong of chef Gray Kunz with his cuisine – a unique style of European classics and signature dishes from a lifetime leading the very finest kitchens in Europe, Asia and America.

Why we recommend The Upper House, Hong Kong

"Both cutting-edge and exceptionally comfy, there are endless reasons why we love The Upper House in Hong Kong. The location at the top of Pacific Plaza places it away from the city’s roar and just a stone’s throw away from the Peak Tram, the rooms are huge by Hong Kong standards, with some of the city’s most iconic bathtubs, and the view from the Café Grey Bar on the 49th floor is exceptional. We also love how they make use of the hotel’s lobby area by hosting pop-ups with various up-and-coming local brands in Hong Kong."
