Scalesia Galapagos Lodge is a fresh concept of luxury eco-camping in the Galapagos Islands. Beautifully designed, the lodge allows you to connect with nature in the highlands of Isabela Island, nestled within 16 hectares of magnificent Scalesia forest.
Sixteen beautiful luxury tents offer modern comforts and attractive décor in the middle of the lush forest. All of the tents are simple in design and include an en suite bathroom. From the comfort of the tent, guests can enjoy views of the island and the Pacific Ocean – make time to relax in the bath while watching the sunset.
Local and international dishes are prepared by knowledgeable chefs who ensure that only the freshest ingredients will be used in your dishes.
Your days will be filled with wildlife and adventure. Hike volcanoes, look for penguins, snorkel with manta rays, then return to Scalesia and relax in one of the many open spaces around the camp.

Location & Getting There
Scalesia Galapagos Lodge is located in the highlands of Isabela, nestled in a magical forest with spectacular coastal views. The journey to the island starts from Quito or Guayaquil International Airports, each a 2-hour flight to nearby Seymour Airport in Baltra.
Accommodation
The Lodge has been designed to allow you to explore Galapagos at its best. Sixteen beautiful luxury tents offer modern comforts and attractive décor in the middle of the lush forest. All of the tents include an ensuite bathroom stocked with amenities to keep you feeling fresh and comfortable throughout your stay.
Crisp white linens and down duvets crown comfortable king and twin size beds. Hardwood floors and contemporary furnishings provide a soothing backdrop to the serene environment. In every tent, find peace, tranquility, and the chance to reconnect with nature.
Activities
The most pristine of the three populated islands, Isabela Island is divided into two sections and is home to six large volcanoes. In the north, a wild and remote environment provides opportunities for rugged adventure in the shallow waters. In the south, towering volcanoes rise impressively into the sky.
Puerto Villamil is just a 20-minute ride away and is a haven of pelicans, penguins, flamingos, herons, sea turtles, sea lions, manta rays, sharks, tropical fish, and more. Outdoor adventurers will rejoice with options to hike, surf, kayak, snorkel, and play with the wildlife on every shore.
