The Pera Palace Hotel Jumeirah overlooks the Golden Horn and the historical old city. It is within walking distance to the Bosphorus, Galata Tower and the famous shopping streets of Istiklal. Pera Palace Hotel is located 20km from the Ataturk International Airport and 3km from the Sirkeci Train Station.

With a total of 115 rooms including 16 suites and french balconies, the Pera Palace Hotel Jumeirah is elegantly furnished with classical characteristics of the 19th century. The Deluxe Golden Horn room provides a spectacular view of the Golden Horn and features a private balcony while the Grand Pera Studio features a spacious yet exceptional view of the historical Petit de Champs. Some of the rooms are also known for the stay of famous people. The Agatha Christie King room is known for renowned Mystery writer Christie’s stay whereby she wrote the “Murder on the Orient Express, which also includes other famous people, the Greta Garbo Corner Room, Ernest Hemingway Suite, Pierre Loti Suite and the Senior Suits which takes the names of the second and third presidents of the Republic of Turkey, Ismet Inonu and Celal Bayar. The piano suits features a magnificent old piano while the presidential suite bears the names of King of Great Britain Edward VIII and Emperor of Austria-Hungary Franz Joseph.
Activities
Istanbul is teeming with superb historical and architectural wonders to visit such as the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace and the bustling Grand Bazaar to name a few things. One activitiy not to be missed is relaxing in one of the city's hammams and taking in a whirling dervishes show. A cruise on the Bosphorus Straits offers great views of the city.
