It is such an integral part of the city that its shape cannot be distinguished, so many buildings have been built onto its walls.

Today you’re escorted to Skoura, a flourishing oasis that’s now the region’s commercial center. Here, palm plantations are crisscrossed by paths that run by crumbling pisé walls up to kasbahs in an equally ruinous condition. The whole effect of this is quite beautiful and pervades throughout the town.
Check into the beautiful Dar Ahlam, your retreat for the next two nights. Spend the next two days exploring the crumbling kasbahs and palm plantations or soaking up the atmosphere of your magical accommodation.
