This mini tour of Iceland’s hot spots takes in the Blue Lagoon, Reynisfjara, Gullfoss and the Great Geysir, and the Northern Lights. Make sure you know how to use your camera properly before your trip to capture the best images of this natural phenomenon!
Upon arrival at the airport, you’ll be escorted by car to your accommodation in Reykjavik.
En route you’ll stop at the famous Blue Lagoon where you can enjoy a swim in the warm geothermal waters.
Check into your hotel and enjoy some leisure time.
This morning you’ll be transferred to your hotel in South Iceland. Take time to settle in before your guided tour of Reynisfjara.
You’ll see gushing waterfalls, dramatic black sand beaches, and strange lava formations. You have the option of participating in a guided ice walk across an ice field filled with ice sculptures.
In the evening, see if you can spot the Northern Lights dancing overhead.
Spend your morning with a local farmer learning about the diversity and freshness of Icelandic produce, before enjoying lunch.
In the afternoon you’ll visit two of South Iceland’s most famous attractions. Known as the ‘Golden Waterfall’, Gullfoss is one of Europe’s most impressive waterfalls, while Geysir is one of the most active thermal geysers in the area, shooting jets of boiling water up to 40 metres in the air. You have the option of a private snowmobiling adventure in place of one of these activities.
Today you may have time for some additional activities, such as dog sledding or hiking, before being escorted to the airport for your onward journey.
