Relais San Maurizio

Located in Piedmont’s wine-producing and truffle region, Relais San Maurizio is a luxury gourmet and spa hotel. Set in a renovated 17th-century hilltop monastery, this Relais & Chateaux property offers views of the Langhe Hills and a state-of-the-art medical and wellness center.

The 36 guestrooms and suites are spread over two buildings. The monastery houses character-filled rooms and suites in the former monks’ cells and stables, while neighboring Villa San Luigi houses contemporary, luxury suites with private whirlpools, patios, exquisite artworks, and modern technology.

Dining is a pleasure. Located in the ancient cellars, the Michelin-starred Guido da Castigliole embraces local produce in its haute cuisine, while the more informal Truffle Bistrot serves light lunches. There’s also a café and cocktail bar, and a wine cellar.
