Osa Peninsula

Tucked away in remote southern Costa Rica is the country’s wildest natural wonder. Osa Peninsula is a vibrant green expanse of virgin rainforest, prosperous ecosystems and sparkling turquoise ocean.

The peninsula was left untouched by early Costa Rican natives who developed much of the rest of the country. To this day it remains a pristine stretch of wilderness, where diverse wildlife lives untroubled among the dense jungle treetop canopies. Nature lovers, we’ll have you staying in a luxury eco lodge where you’ll wake up to the call of the spider monkeys, scarlet macaws and parrots each morning.

The Corcovado National Park, covering and preserving much of the rainforest, is a haven of bird watching, hiking trails with nature experts, swimming in waterfall pools and kayaking the river-ways.

Osa Peninsula’s rainforest stretches right out to its Pacific coast where it falls away into spotless sand and vivid blue waters. The peninsula’s quiet little beach towns provide an idyllic setting for diving in search of sea turtles, sharks and tropical fish among the colourful coral reefs.

Plenty of luxury eco accommodation in the area lies on little islets that are only accessible by boat, which feels like entering your own deserted slice of paradise, with uninterrupted sounds of nature and the ocean all around. There’s much to see above the water, too, with the sheltered waters of the Golfo Dulce proving favourable with whales and dolphins.

A luxury tour in Osa Peninsula takes you into true wilderness, with stunning biodiversity to comfortably coexist with as you explore the jungle and coral reefs from your eco lodge base.
