Serious food lovers should plan a visit to Australia and the Margaret River around the Gourmet Escape in November. Alternatively, head to Western Australia between June and September to hunt for the elusive Black Gold truffles.

Arrival Perth – Margaret River

Upon arrival at Perth, you’ll be met by a representative and escorted by car to your accommodation in the heart of Margaret River Wine Country.

The remainder of your day will be spent at leisure.

Day 2
Margaret River Wine Country

Spend two days exploring the Margaret River Wine Country. There’s a range of tours and activities on offer, including nature and wildlife tours, and food and wine tours.

You can also explore on horseback or mountain bike, take art and cookery classes or hunt for truffles (in season). Your Travel Designer can help plan activities that suit your needs prior to departure.

Day 3
Margaret River - Barossa Valley

Enjoy your time in the Barossa Valley where you’ll check into your luxury lodge on a vineyard and winery.

Enjoy wine tours and tastings, blend your own wine at Penfolds, accompany the restaurant chefs on a visit to the farmers’ market, and take an exclusive private tour of one of Australia’s oldest and most historic wine estates.


Day 7

Barossa Valley - Victoria

Start day 7 with a domestic flight to Victoria, where you’ll be transferred to your accommodation at the Lake House Daylesford.

Spend your days exploring the property, its landscaped gardens filled with sculpture and artworks, and kitchen gardens bursting with fruits and vegetables.

There are numerous food and wine tours on offer, a cookery school, and nature and outdoor activities available.

Day 8, 9

Lake House Daylesford

Continue to explore the property, its landscaped gardens and kitchen gardens bursting with fruits and vegetables.
